What is NEXUS?

NEXUS is a browser extension that lets you trade tokens instantly while browsing DexScreener, GMGN.ai, and Four.meme. No more switching between tabs or copying contract addresses - just click and trade.

Supported Chains

Getting Started

1. Install the Extension

1. Download NEXUS from the Chrome Web Store
2. Click "Add to Chrome"
3. Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access

2. Create Your Account

Option A: Email & Password

1. Click the NEXUS icon in your toolbar
2. Click "Sign Up"
3. Enter your username, email, and password
4. Click "Create Account"

Option B: Google Sign-In

1. Click the NEXUS icon
2. Click "Sign in with Google"
3. Select your Google account
4. Set a trading password (required for security)

3. Add a Wallet

You need a wallet to start trading. You can import an existing wallet or generate a new one.

Import Existing Wallet

1. Go to "Manage Wallets"
2. Click "Add Wallet"
3. Select wallet type (EVM or Solana)
4. Choose "Import Existing"
5. Enter a name and paste your private key
6. Click "Import"

Generate New Wallet

1. Go to "Manage Wallets"
2. Click "Add Wallet"
3. Select wallet type (EVM or Solana)
4. Choose "Generate New"
5. Enter a wallet name
6. Click "Generate"

How to Trade

Using the Floating Panel

1. Visit any token page on:
   • DexScreener (dexscreener.com)
   • GMGN (gmgn.ai)
   • Four.meme (four.meme)
2. The NEXUS floating panel appears automatically
3. The token is auto-detected from the page
4. Select your wallet and enter your trade amount
5. Click BUY or SELL

Buying Tokens

1. Enter the amount of native token to spend (ETH, BNB, SOL, etc.)
2. Or use the quick buttons (0.1, 0.5, 1, 2, etc.)
3. Review the estimated tokens you'll receive
4. Click "BUY"
5. Confirm the transaction details
6. Enter your password
7. Done! Your transaction will be submitted

Selling Tokens

1. Enter the percentage of your holdings to sell (10%, 25%, 50%, 100%)
2. Or use the quick percentage buttons
3. Review the estimated output
4. Click "SELL"
5. Confirm and enter your password
6. Done!

Manual Trading

If auto-detection doesn't work:

1. Click "Contract Address" to expand the section
2. Paste the token contract address
3. Select the correct chain
4. Continue with your trade

Customizing Your Experience

Adjust Slippage

Slippage protects you from price changes during your trade.

1. Find the slippage field on the main screen (default: 1%)
2. Adjust based on token volatility:

Customize Quick Buttons

Set your preferred trade amounts:

1. Click the Settings icon (gear)
2. Find "Buy Buttons" section
3. Enter your preferred amounts (e.g., 0.05, 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10)
4. Find "Sell Buttons" section
5. Enter your preferred percentages (e.g., 25, 50, 75, 100)
6. Click "Save"

Gas Settings

Control your transaction speed and cost:

1. Click the Gas icon (pump)
2. Select a chain to configure
3. Choose your mode:
   • Multiplier: Adjust network gas by a factor (1.0x = normal, 1.5x = faster)
   • Custom: Enter exact gas values in Gwei

Panel Appearance

• Move: Drag the panel header to reposition
• Resize: Drag the bottom-right corner
• Transparency: Click the opacity icon and adjust the slider
• Close: Click X (reopen with the floating "N" button)

Managing Your Wallets

View Your Wallets

1. Click "Manage Wallets" on the dashboard
2. See all your wallets with addresses and types

View Private Key

1. Go to "Manage Wallets"
2. Click the key icon next to your wallet
3. Enter your password
4. Your private key displays for 60 seconds
5. Copy it securely if needed

Edit Wallet Name

1. Go to "Manage Wallets"
2. Click the edit icon (pencil)
3. Enter the new name
4. Click "Save"

Delete Wallet

1. Go to "Manage Wallets"
2. Click the delete icon (trash)
3. Confirm deletion

Portfolio & History

View Your Holdings

1. Click "Portfolio" on the dashboard
2. The "Holdings" tab shows all your tokens
3. Filter by chain using the dropdown
4. Search by token name or symbol

View Trade History

1. Click "Portfolio"
2. Go to the "History" tab
3. See all your past trades with details:
   • Date & time
   • Token traded
   • Amount & price
   • Transaction hash (click to view on explorer)

Export Trading Report

Generate a PDF report for your records:

1. Go to Portfolio > History
2. Click "Export PDF"
3. Select your filters (chain, date range, type)
4. Click "Generate Report"
5. Your PDF downloads automatically

Security Features

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add an extra layer of security to your account.

Enable 2FA

1. Go to Settings
2. Find "Two-Factor Authentication"
3. Click "Enable 2FA"
4. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
5. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm
6. Save your backup codes securely

Disable 2FA

1. Go to Settings
2. Click "Disable 2FA"
3. Enter your 2FA code to confirm

Password Security

• Your password is required for all trades
• Private keys are encrypted and never leave your device
• Passwords are never stored in plain text

Change Password

1. Click your profile icon
2. Click "Change Password"
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter and confirm your new password
5. Click "Update Password"

Troubleshooting

Panel Not Appearing

• Make sure you're on a supported site (DexScreener, GMGN, Four.meme)
• Check if the extension is enabled
• Try refreshing the page
• Look for the "N" button at the bottom-right to reopen

Token Not Detected

• Try refreshing the page
• Manually enter the contract address
• Make sure you're on a valid token page (not the homepage)

Transaction Failed

Wrong Chain Selected

• Check the chain dropdown matches the token's chain
• The extension auto-selects, but you can override manually
• Make sure you have a wallet for that chain type

Balance Not Updating

• Click the refresh button on the dashboard
• Wait a few seconds for blockchain confirmation
• Check your transaction on the block explorer

Fees

NEXUS charges a small trading fee on successful transactions. The fee is automatically calculated and shown in your transaction confirmation before you trade.

View your pending fees and fee history in your Profile section.
